On October 17, on the occasion of the National Day of Spain, Acebra had the honor of being invited to the reception organized by the Consulate of Spain in Rio de Janeiro with Ángel Vázquez Díaz de Tuesta, Consul General of Spain in Rio de Janeiro. Acebra was represented by our president, Veronica Aran Ponte, who had the opportunity to establish new relationships with relevant personalities in order to create new initiatives between Spain and Brazil. Among our recent collaborations are Santiago González Andújar, Counselor of the Ministry of Education, María del Pilar de Miguel Ortega, Delegate of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and José Vicente Ballester Monferrer, Director of the Cervantes Institute of Rio de Janeiro who cordially offered his infrastructure for the development of the activities of the Association of Spanish Scientists in Brazil.
